About Coach Gabe

I began my golf journey just over five years ago, transitioning from the food and beverage industry. During a challenging time in my life, a friend introduced me to golf, and everything changed. I still remember my first round—I lost 20 balls on each nine! Despite the struggle, my friend showed me the joy of being outdoors and the camaraderie that comes with the game. I met incredible people who became lifelong friends, and I discovered a sense of community I hadn’t found elsewhere. From that day forward, I fell head over heels in love with golf. The challenge, the beauty of the course, and the connection to nature drew me in. When I moved to Tallahassee, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in the golf industry to nurture my passion further. After working in various roles and practicing diligently for over two years, I finally felt confident enough to teach others. Teaching has always been the thing that has brought me the most joy in life. Nothing makes me happier than seeing that lightbulb moment when a student achieves their goal after working hard. After realizing this about myself, I had a conversation with my mentor and expressed my interest, he fully encouraged me to embrace my role as a golf instructor. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of helping over 100 clients improve their swings. I also accepted the job at a local middle school’s golf team, leading us to a perfect 5-0 season and a championship trophy! And this is just the beginning, I am on currently on the path to become a certified PGA class A Pro. If you've made it this far, thank you for letting me share my story.
